NETSETGO
NetSetGo is offered to new players that are 6-10 years old. It is a program that is run to teach young players the fundamental skills required in netball. It helps kids to gain confidence, work in a team and have fun with new friends.
For NetSetGo players there are two options.
Saturday – GO – Competition: for players aged 9 & 10. This competition is played at Canoon Courts, South Turramurra.
Saturday – Set – Skills/Competition: for players aged 7 & 8. This competition is played at Lofberg Courts, West Pymble.
The NetSetGo competition is more flexible with the rules and puts more emphasis on having fun and learning the sport. The scores are recorded however there is no ladder or finals games. Each player is given a fair turn at each position so they can experience the whole game. These games are umpired by the coach or a parent from each team.
Players who are 9–10 age play at Canoon Road in South Turramurra on a Thursday.
Depending on the grade, the 9-year competition takes place on Thursday afternoons at either 5 or 6 p.m.
Depending on the children's skill level, friendship requests for the age group can be filed and will be taken into consideration.
